PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 (AFS) Adampur came into its existence in 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi,which is an autonomous body formed by ministry of Education Govt. of India.The vidyalaya has been marching ahead combating all challenges to cope up with the modern dynamic changing world. The school was imparting education up to Higher Secondary Level since 1983. Their onwards it has been imparting education up to class XII(Science, Commerce & Humanities Stream). At present the school having 3 sections up to class X & 1 section for Science, 1 for Commerce Stream and 1 Section for Humanities Stream at +1 and +2 level.No. of class rooms : 36.Science labs: Physics Lab, Biology Lab, Chemistry Lab, Computer Lab, Junior Science Lab.Other rooms: Library, Yoga Room, Music Room, Work Experience Room, Games & Sports Room, Geography Room, Examination Room, Activitiy Room, Staff Room.Facilities for indoor and outdoor games are Indoor – Carom, Chess and Outdoor- Handball, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabaddi.
